Give shoppers the freedom to interact with merchandise while maintaining a stronger layer of protection against theft. The Edge DeArm™ Cable Lock combines flexible installation, secure product attachment, and patented DeArm™ technology to help retailers confidently merchandise high-value products in the open.
Designed to work with existing AM or RF EAS systems, the Cable Lock helps reduce reliance on locked cases while keeping products accessible, visible, and ready to sell.
Traditional security devices can become vulnerable when unauthorized or counterfeit detachers are used. DeArm™ adds another step.
Before the Cable Lock can be removed, the device must first be deactivated using a handheld or POS deactivator. Only after successful deactivation can the lock be released.
This two-step approach adds another layer of protection while maintaining a simple process for store associates at checkout.
Deactivate
Pass the Cable Lock over the appropriate AM or RF deactivator.
Unlock
Once disarmed, the Cable Lock can be quickly released using the appropriate Edge detacher.
Complete Sale
Remove the device and return the merchandise to the customer with minimal disruption at checkout.
